Tunisia Event 24th April – News Update

Today, Tuesday 20th April, we are unsure as to whether we will be able to fly to Tunisia from Ireland this Saturday 24th as planned or not. The uncertainty is due to the cloud of volcanic ash presently covering Ireland.

If the Tunisia trip is cancelled by the tour operator, we will offer alternative training in Cork and Dublin for IPLTR students and cover the same syllabus as had been planned for Tunisia.

It looks as though we won’t know definitely about Tunisia until Friday, so let’s keep our fingers crossed for a window of opportunity!

Marion Boon Regression Therapy Training Dublin 2009

Marion Boon Regression Therapy Training Dublin 2009

Report on the Transpersonal Regression Therapy Training
with Marion Boon on
24th – 26th October, 2009
in the Marino Institute of Education, Dublin

Our group of 19 Irish hypnotherapists attended the 3 days of intensive practical training in transpersonal regression therapy over a beautiful autumn weekend in Dublin, Ireland.

The workshop was run by the Irish Institute of Past Life Therapy and Research and the invited trainer was Marion Boon from the Netherlands. Marion is an experienced regression therapist and IPARRT trainer who taught us the first modules of the  “direct focus” approach to past life therapy and transpersonal regression therapy. This approach is based on the works of Hans TenDam, Roger Woolger and Morris Netherton. The IPLTR have named this approach “The Boon Model”.

The 3-day training consisted of a mix of group exercises, practical demonstrations and group practice sessions of the therapeutic techniques.

One of the first group exercises was aura exploration, a technique developed by Hans TenDam. This revealed any weak or missing areas, or areas of darker or denser energy in the aura, or if anything was present which did not belong.

The final group exercise at the end of the 3 days repeated the same exercise, and as we shared the differences in the two experiences, it became evident that all the participants had benefitted from the training on an energetic level as well as an educational and experiential level.

Marion’s training focused first on learning new skills and improving our existing regression skills, using verbal chains and combination bridges. We practiced in small groups working on ourselves, using the charged phrases from the verbal chains to elicit the entry point to begin a regression into the past.

We also watched Marion conducting therapeutic sessions with workshop participants, demonstrating the release and integration of past life personalities who are still influencing and disturbing the current personality. Marion also taught and demonstrated renovating the death experience, how to deal with hangover lifetimes, karmic attachments and much more. Group exercises included the aura exploration, soul star, soul retrieval and reclaiming lost energy from inner children and past life personalities.

Everybody was impressed with Marion’s skills as a therapist and also as a detective, staying focused on the client to help them track down the original cause whenever that may have occurred. Her professionalism, empathy and energy were a delight to witness as she skilfully helped the client through various past lives, death experiences and after death and inter-life experiences, guiding them to emotional, mental, bodily and spiritual catharsis, encouraging insights and understanding in relation to the present day difficulty.

We left the 3 day training with many more practical skills, a solid basic grasp of past life and transpersonal therapy and a strong desire to learn more and to introduce the direct focus technique into our present therapy work.

The next step is to set up study groups around the country, who will meet regularly to practice and hone the skills we have learned in the training.

We look forward to Marion Boon revisiting Ireland in 2010 to continue our training and intend to have a group of IPLTR transpersonal regression therapists qualifying at the end of the year, recognised and fully accredited by IPARRT, Tasso and EarTh.
